RAY THOMPSON, MBA
With 30 years of experience in executive roles, I’ve been at the helm of companies ranging from startups to $50 million enterprises, both private and public. As COO of my previous venture, I led the company to a successful NASDAQ listing, acquired six companies, and navigated a successful exit. The last few years in mergers and acquisitions led me back to my roots and to Main Ascent.
My foundation and passion are in everyday business operations, and I take great joy in supporting fellow entrepreneurs. Over my career, I’ve launched a diverse range of businesses, including a printing company, a furniture company, tech startups, a real estate practice, a travel agency, and an architectural services firm.
In addition to acquiring multiple hands-on MBAs, I studied business and electrical engineering at the University of Colorado and later earned an MBA from the University of Denver with a focus on technology transfer and commercial real estate.
