SCOTT D. PERRY, MBA
In addition to being raised by a Small Business Owner, I have gained over 20 years’ experience myself as owners of both “virtual” and a “bricks-and-mortar” small businesses. I enjoy learning about different business, how they work and what they can do to reach new heights. I have helped turnaround and launch several companies throughout my career. Helping entrepreneurs is hard coded in my DNA and I am always grateful when given the opportunity to contribute to their goals being achieved.
I am a founder/owner of an on-line platform connecting local fitness opportunities with people looking for fresh fitness experiences, a self-storage facility business and a developer for Brownfield Redevelopment sites.
Before moving to Colorado, I spent 13 years in construction and in commercial real estate consulting. I was recruited to Colorado by a software company that had been floundering for several years. I enjoyed the challenge of turning it around and growing our markets around the world. I then took on a turnaround challenge for a company that supplied networking capabilities to underground mines that had suffered significant losses. Working in markets throughout the Americas, we were able to restore team morale, profitability and growth despite our industry being in a deep recession.
I obtained my BS from Wayne State University in Detroit, and my MBA from Syracuse University in New York, (where I graduated 1st in my class). I live with my wife and our three children in Lakewood, Colorado.
